It’s Pastor Appreciation Sunday! Let’s come together to honor and show love to all of our pastors for their dedication and service. Prepare a special expression of appreciation, whether it’s a word of thanks, a card, or an offering of love, to remind our leaders how much they mean to us.

Location: Fellowship Hall (immediately after service)
Join us as we celebrate Lady Sheila Ware’s birthday! We’ll gather in the Fellowship Hall right after service for a time of fellowship, food, and love. Come share your warm wishes and gratitude for Lady Sheila’s faith, leadership, and heart for the church family.

Join us for our Fall Festival on October 31st from 6:00–8:30 PM, a joyful evening of fun, faith, and fellowship hosted by our youth ministry!

Enjoy family-friendly activities like Pumpkin Ring Toss, a Cake Walk, face painting, and “Thankful Hands” crafts, something for everyone to enjoy!

Our theme is inspired by John 8:12, where Jesus says, “I am the light of the world.” Even on a day often associated with darkness, we come together to shine God’s light through laughter, love, and community.

You’ll also have the opportunity to make a small donation to help support food, supplies, and future youth ministry events.

Who Should Attend: Preaching Ministers, Pastors, Deacons, and Ministry Group Leaders
All church leaders are asked to attend this Leadership Workshop led by Pastor Steve Terry. This session is designed to strengthen and equip our leadership team for the year ahead which will include the launch of small groups. Get ready for a joyful evening of creativity, community, and celebration at Holiday Follies! Join us on Thursday, December 5th beginning at 6PM for a night filled with fun for the entire Cornerstone family.

Entertainment in the Sanctuary

We’ll kick off the evening with live inspiration and entertainment upstairs in the sanctuary. Come ready to laugh, sing, and enjoy the festive atmosphere as we celebrate the season together.

Potluck Dinner in the Fellowship Hall

After the entertainment, head downstairs for our Holiday Potluck!
Bring your favorite dish to share, homemade, store-bought, or family tradition, we want to enjoy what brings joy to your table.

Art Gallery – “The Color of Love”

This year’s Holiday Follies includes a special Art Gallery, and everyone is invited to participate!
The theme is “The Color of Love.”
Bring an art piece from any medium—ceramics, paintings, sculpture, photography, or mixed media. Your work will be displayed for one day only as part of this festive celebration.

Kids are especially welcome to join in!
Little ones can create:

• Play-Doh sculptures
• Construction paper and crayon artwork
• Dioramas
• Any fun creation that expresses the color of love

We can’t wait to see how creative everyone can be!

Author Showcase

We are also celebrating the authors in our congregation!
If you’ve written a book, we would love to feature it in our Author Showcase.
Books can be displayed, and if they are available for sale, you may indicate that.
