Cornerstone Church Corona Virus Policy

Cornerstone Church Corona Virus Policy

Greetings Cornerstone Family and Friends,

This is to remind each one that we will be worshipping at 10:00 am in our homes and not at the Cornerstone Church Building each Sunday Morning in compliance with the State of Maryland Coronavirus Covid-19 Order. Remember that we are the church and when we gather on the Social Media Platform we are still worshipping as Cornerstone Church. There are three ways to worship from your home on Sunday. We will be streaming from www.thecornerstonechurch.net. We will be going on Facebook Live from Cornerstone Church Facebook page. Start a watch party. Others can join us on totally free conference call by dialing in on (712)432-6110 (access code #956934).

We are developing a program to effectuate our vision: Connect people to God; Connect members to other members, and Connect the church to the Community. We will be developing a "Care Line." The Ministers and Deacons will be assigned to seven to ten members which they will reach out to weekly. If anyone needs to contact the Pastor, they will schedule that call. We will add additional times of prayer, and we will have Bible Study and Prayer over Zoom.

The song keeps ringing in my spirit: "If ever we needed the Lord before, we sure do need him now." In Jeremiah 32:17 it states, "There is nothing too hard for God." Meditating on this passage of scripture it is clear to me that God has a plan. He had Jeremiah to purchase a field in a time of crisis, because he knew one day when they came back to the land, they would have a legal right to it.

We also encourage each member to continue to give regularly because it is an act of worship. Give on line by going to our website: www.thecornerstonechurch.net and click donate. Send your check to the Cornerstone Church at 7277 Eden Brook Drive, Columbia, Md. 21046. Also, if your bank has bill pay you can include Cornerstone in your regularly schedule payments. We need your help during these times when we are not meeting in person; we must still stay together as a family of believers. Call each other! Pray for each other! Pray for this nation! I am praying that our government leadership to have a "Paul Damascus Road experience." We need an enlighten path forward.

One thing I am sure of is that God is still in charge and that he will bring us through this difficult time. Remember we love you and are praying for you. Tune in each Sunday Morning at 10:00 am for our online worship experience!
